Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S20 has a global score of 94.8, which is a little bit better than Galaxy A42's 87 overall score. Both phones in this comparison work with Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy S20 has a newer 13 version and Galaxy A42 has Android 11, giving you some additional features. Although Samsung Galaxy S20 and the Galaxy A42 were released only a couple of months apart, Samsung Galaxy S20 is a little bit thinner and lighter.
The Galaxy S20 has a much better screen than Galaxy A42, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a way better resolution of 1440 x 3200px and a way higher screen pixel density. Galaxy S20 and Samsung Galaxy A42 both have quite similar storage for applications, games, photos and videos, they have an external memory card slot that admits up to 1000 GB and the same 128 GB internal storage.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 features a little bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy A42, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Samsung Galaxy S20 also has a larger amount of RAM.
