Comparison review
The Galaxy S21 has a score of 91.8, which is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy A42's global score of 87. The Galaxy S21 body is somewhat lighter and just a bit thinner than Samsung Galaxy A42, even when they were released only a couple of months apart. Both of these phones work with the same Android 11 OS.
Galaxy S21 features a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy A42, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S21 also has more RAM. Galaxy S21 has a way better looking display than Galaxy A42, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a way better resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a much better pixel density.
The Galaxy A42 has a superior memory capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S21, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy A42 also has a SD extension slot that allows up to 1000 GB. Samsung Galaxy A42 features better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S21, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
Samsung Galaxy A42 has just a bit better camera than Galaxy S21, and although they both have a F1.8 camera aperture and the same video quality, the Samsung Galaxy A42 also has better 30 frames per second video frame rates and a camera in the back with way more megapixels.
