Galaxy A42 is better than Galaxy XCover 5, with an 87 score against 78.1. Galaxy A42's design is somewhat heavier but a bit thinner than Galaxy XCover 5, and both of them were only released 4 months apart. Both devices in this comparison use the same Android 11 operating system, so they should provide all the same operating system features.
