Samsung Galaxy A42 has an overall score of 87, which is much better than Samsung Galaxy XCover 6 Pro's score of 77.6. The Samsung Galaxy A42 design is somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter than the Samsung Galaxy XCover 6 Pro, despite of the fact that it was released a little bit over a year before. These phones use Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy A42 has older 11 version while Samsung Galaxy XCover 6 Pro has Android 12.
Galaxy XCover 6 Pro counts with a bit sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy A42, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Galaxy XCover 6 Pro also has a lot better 1080 x 2400 resolution and a better quantity of pixels per screen inch. The Samsung Galaxy A42 features a way better processing power than Galaxy XCover 6 Pro, although it has lesser RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.

The Samsung Galaxy A42 captures better photographs and videos than Galaxy XCover 6 Pro, although it has a worse 48 mega-pixels resolution camera, they both have a F1.8 aperture.
