The Galaxy A42 is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro, with a score of 87 against 81. Galaxy A42's design is newer, lighter and thinner than the Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro. Both of these phones come with the same Android 11 OS (operating system), so you shouldn't see any difference regarding operating system features.
Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro counts with a much better display than Galaxy A42, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a way better resolution of 1080 x 2340px and a much greater count of pixels per screen inch.
