Comparison review
Galaxy Z Flip is slightly better than Galaxy A42, having a overall score of 88.5 against 87. Galaxy Z Flip's construction is a little bit lighter and thinner than Galaxy A42, even when they were released with only a few months difference. These phones work with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Z Flip has 12 version while Galaxy A42 has Android 11, so it gives you some nice extra features.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip has a sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy A42, because it has a way better resolution of 1080 x 2636, a quite bigger screen and a lot higher count of pixels per inch in the screen. The Galaxy A42 has a bigger storage for applications and games than Galaxy Z Flip, because although it has only 128 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that holds up to 1000 GB.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip counts with a little faster CPU than Galaxy A42, and although they both have 8 cores, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip also has a larger amount of RAM. Galaxy A42 has a much longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, because it has a 52 percent larger battery capacity. The Samsung Galaxy A42 takes a bit better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, because although it has lower video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and a same size aperture, the Samsung Galaxy A42 also counts with a back facing camera with lot more mega-pixels.
