Comparison review
The Xperia PRO has a score of 94.3, which is slightly better than the Galaxy A42's 87 global score. Even being the best in this review, it must be told that it is also thicker and heavier. These phones include Android OS (Operating System), but the Xperia PRO has the older 10 version while Galaxy A42 has Android 11.
Sony Xperia PRO features a much more vibrant screen than Galaxy A42, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a much higher screen pixels density and a way higher 1644 x 3840 resolution. The Sony Xperia PRO has a superior storage capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy A42, because it has 512 GB internal memory and a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 1 TB.
Sony Xperia PRO has a little bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy A42, and although they both have 8 cores, the Sony Xperia PRO also has 4 GB more RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy A42 captures just a bit better photos and videos than Xperia PRO, because although it has worse 30 fps video frame rates and a smaller aperture which is not favorable for low light captures and videos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Samsung Galaxy A42 also counts with a back-facing camera with a much higher 48 MP resolution.
Galaxy A42 features superior battery lifetime than Sony Xperia PRO, because it has a 25 percent more battery capacity.
