Comparison review
Galaxy A42 has a score of 87, which is a bit better than the Xiaomi 14's 79.4 general score. Although it's the best we are comparing, the Galaxy A42 is an a lot older, just a little heavier and just a little thicker device than the Xiaomi 14. Both of these phones work with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy A42 has an older 11 version and Xiaomi 14 has Android 14 version.
The Galaxy A42 counts with a much more powerful processing unit than Xiaomi 14, although it has 4 GB less RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. Xiaomi 14 has a way better display than Samsung Galaxy A42, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a way better pixel amount per inch of display and a way better resolution of 1200 x 2670px.
The Xiaomi 14 shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy A42, because it has a better 50 mega pixels resolution back facing camera, a way higher 7680x4320 video resolution and a larger camera aperture for better low-light photos and videos. Samsung Galaxy A42 features more memory capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi 14, because although it has only 128 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 1000 GB.
Galaxy A42 features a little longer battery lifetime than Xiaomi 14, because it has an 8 percent larger battery capacity.
