Galaxy A42 has a score of 87, which is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2's 81.2 general score. The Galaxy A42 construction is notably newer than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2's, but it is somewhat thicker and just a bit heavier. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 features a little better hardware performance than Galaxy A42, and although they both have 8 cores, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 also has 2 GB more RAM.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 features a much better looking display than Galaxy A42, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 2160px and a lot better display pixels density. The Samsung Galaxy A42 has a greater storage for applications and games than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has only 128 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 1000 GB.
