Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 has a general score of 89, which is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy A42's 87 global score. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 design is newer and a bit thinner, but heavier than Samsung Galaxy A42. These phones have the same Android 11 OS (operating system). The Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 features a sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy A42, because it has a better amount of pixels per screen inch, a much better 1080 x 2400 resolution and a little larger display.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 features a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy A42, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 also has more RAM memory. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 has a lot better camera than Galaxy A42, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for shooting photographs and video in poorly lited environments, it also counts with a way higher 7680x4320 video resolution and a much better 108 megapixels resolution back facing camera.
The Galaxy A42 features a very superior memory capacity for applications and games than Xiaomi Mi Mix 4, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Galaxy A42 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 1000 GB. The Samsung Galaxy A42 has a bit better battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi Mix 4, because it has an 11% more battery size.
