Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro has an overall score of 87.9, which is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy A42's 87 global score. The Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro construction is just a bit thicker and somewhat heavier than the Samsung Galaxy A42. Both of these phones include Android OS (Operating System), but the Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro has older 10 version while Samsung Galaxy A42 has Android 11.
Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro features a much more vibrant screen than Galaxy A42, because it has a greater pixels amount in each screen inch, a lot better 1080 x 2400 resolution and a little bigger display. The Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro has a little faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy A42, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro also has more RAM.
Samsung Galaxy A42 counts with a much better storage capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy A42 also has a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 1000 GB. The Galaxy A42 has just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4700mAh.
The Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro counts with a superior camera than Samsung Galaxy A42, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for capturing photos and/or video in low light environments, it also counts with a way better video quality and a lot higher resolution camera.
