Comparison review
Xiaomi Poco F3 is just a bit better than Galaxy A42, getting an 87.3 score against 87. Although the Xiaomi Poco F3 and the Galaxy A42 were only released with a couple months difference, Xiaomi Poco F3's body is just a little heavier but also just a little bit thinner than the Galaxy A42. Both phones in our current comparison work with the same Android 11 OS (operating system).
The Xiaomi Poco F3 has an incredibly better looking screen than Galaxy A42, because it has a little larger display, a lot better 1080 x 2400 resolution and more pixels per inch of display. Xiaomi Poco F3 counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy A42, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xiaomi Poco F3 also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
Galaxy A42 counts with a lot bigger storage to install games and applications than Xiaomi Poco F3, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal storage, the Galaxy A42 also has a SD memory slot that supports up to 1000 GB. Xiaomi Poco F3 features a slightly better camera than Galaxy A42. Both of them have a 48 MP resolution back facing camera, the same aperture, the same (4K) video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate.
Samsung Galaxy A42 has just a little better battery life than Xiaomi Poco F3, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 4520mAh.
