Samsung Galaxy A42 has a global score of 87, which is just a bit better than Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro's 83.4 score. Samsung Galaxy A42's construction is a bit thinner and somewhat lighter than Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro, even when both were released only 4 months apart. Both phones in this comparison review come with the same Android 11 operating system.
Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro has a bit better processor than Galaxy A42, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro also has a greater amount of RAM. The Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro has a better looking display than Samsung Galaxy A42, because it has a higher amount of pixels per screen inch, a much better 1080 x 2400 resolution and a quite larger screen.
