Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy A42 has a general score of 87, which is better than Xiaomi POCO X4 Pro 5G's score of 76.7. Both of these phones use Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy A42 has 11 version while Xiaomi POCO X4 Pro 5G has Android 12 version. Although the Samsung Galaxy A42 is older and a bit thicker than the Xiaomi POCO X4 Pro 5G, it's construction is still just a bit lighter.
Galaxy A42 has a very superior hardware performance than Xiaomi POCO X4 Pro 5G, although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. The Xiaomi POCO X4 Pro 5G has a lot better looking display than Galaxy A42, because it has a way better 1080 x 2400 resolution, a better pixel density and a quite bigger display.
The Galaxy A42 takes just a bit better photos and videos than Xiaomi POCO X4 Pro 5G, because although it has a lot less mega pixels resolution back facing camera, it also counts with a larger aperture to capture better captures and videos in low light situations. The Xiaomi POCO X4 Pro 5G has slightly more storage capacity for applications and games than Galaxy A42, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage, the Xiaomi POCO X4 Pro 5G also has an external memory slot that supports up to 1 TB.
The Xiaomi POCO X4 Pro 5G's battery life is very similar to the battery performance in Samsung Galaxy A42.
