Comparison review
Galaxy A42 is better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S, getting an 87 score against 78.2. Both of these devices work with the same Android 11 OS, so both should provide identical operating system features. The Galaxy A42 is a just a bit thicker and a bit heavier device than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S. Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S and Samsung Galaxy A42 have very similar processing units, and although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S has 2 GB more RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
