The Galaxy A42 is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro, getting a general score of 87 against 86.1. Both devices in this review use the same Android 11 operating system. Galaxy A42's design is a bit thicker but a little lighter than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro. Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro has a bit superior processor than Samsung Galaxy A42, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro features a much better looking display than Samsung Galaxy A42, because it has a much better display pixel density, a little bit bigger display and a way higher 2080 x 2400 pixels resolution. Galaxy A42 counts with a superior storage to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage, the Galaxy A42 also has a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 1000 GB.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro features just a bit better battery lifetime than Galaxy A42, because it has a 5160mAh battery capacity. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro has a slightly better camera than Galaxy A42, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not recommended for capturing pictures and/or video in low-light situations, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro also counts with a way more MP camera in the back.
