Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A42 is much better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, having a score of 87 against 75.7. Even though the Samsung Galaxy A42 is a better phone than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, we must note that it is also older, a little heavier and a little bit thicker. Both devices in this comparison review include Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy A42 has an older 11 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has Android 12 version.
The Samsung Galaxy A42 counts with a way better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro counts with a way better screen than Galaxy A42, because it has a higher pixels density, a little larger display and a way better 1080 x 2400px resolution.
Galaxy A42 counts with much more storage for apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy A42 also has an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 1000 GB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro's battery performance is just as good as the battery life in Samsung Galaxy A42.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro takes slightly better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy A42, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not so good for capturing pictures or video in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro also counts with a back facing camera with more mega pixels.
