Comparison review
The Galaxy A42 is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, with an 87 score against 76.6. The Galaxy A42 design is a little bit thinner and a little bit lighter than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, although they were only released with a couple months difference. Both phones we compare here come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy A42 has newer 11 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has Android 10.
Samsung Galaxy A42 has a bit better processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Samsung Galaxy A42 also has a larger amount of RAM. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a brighter display than Galaxy A42, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a much higher resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and a higher pixels density.
