Samsung Galaxy A42 is a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T, getting a global score of 87 against 83. Samsung Galaxy A42 is a a bit lighter and a little thinner cellphone than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T, even when they were only released 2 months apart. Both phones in our current comparison use Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy A42 has newer 11 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T has Android 10, so it counts with a couple additional features.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T features a little bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy A42. Both have 8 cores and the same RAM memory amount. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T features a better looking display than Galaxy A42, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a much higher 1080 x 2340 resolution and a higher display pixels density.
The Samsung Galaxy A42 features a lot bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T, because it has 64 GB more internal storage and an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 1000 GB.
