The Huawei P20 Pro is much better than Galaxy A5 (2016), getting an 81.4 score against 71.9. The Huawei P20 Pro design is extremely newer, but heavier and just a little bit thicker than Galaxy A5 (2016). Huawei P20 Pro has a bit better processing power than Galaxy A5 (2016), and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei P20 Pro also has a larger amount of RAM.
