The Galaxy M12 has an overall score of 80, which is better than the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016)'s general score of 71.9. The Galaxy M12 construction is newer, but incredibly thicker and notably heavier than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016). Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) features a more vivid screen than Galaxy M12, because although it has a way smaller display, it also counts with a lot greater count of pixels per inch in the display and a better 1080 x 1920px resolution.
The Galaxy M12 features a much greater memory to store more games and applications than Galaxy A5 (2016), because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 1 TB and more internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy M12 features just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy A5 (2016), and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Samsung Galaxy M12 also has more RAM.
Samsung Galaxy M12 features a much better battery performance than Galaxy A5 (2016), because it has a 6000mAh battery size instead of 2900mAh. Galaxy M12 has a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016), because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for shooting pictures and video in low light situations, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video definition and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy M12 also counts with a way higher 48 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera.
