Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 has a general score of 80.3, which is better than the Galaxy A5 (2016)'s general score of 71.9. Although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 is noticeably newer than the Galaxy A5 (2016), it's somewhat heavier and just a bit thicker. Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 counts with a screen that is very similar to the Galaxy A5 (2016) one, because although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 has a just a bit less pixels per inch in the display, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2340px and a larger screen.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 has just a bit better performance than Galaxy A5 (2016), and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 also has more RAM memory.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 features a very superior camera than Galaxy A5 (2016), and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 also has faster 120 fps video frame rate, a lot higher resolution camera in the back and a bigger aperture.
