Google Pixel 3a is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017), getting a 78.8 score against 75.8. The Google Pixel 3a design is a lot newer and a little lighter than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017)'s, but it is a little bit thicker. Google Pixel 3a has a little bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017), and although they both have the same number of cores, the Google Pixel 3a also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
The Google Pixel 3a has a slightly better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017), because it has a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2220, a quite larger display and a just a bit more pixels per inch of screen. Galaxy A5 (2017) features more storage capacity to install games and applications than Google Pixel 3a, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB.
The Google Pixel 3a's battery lifetime is just as good as the battery duration in Galaxy A5 (2017). Google Pixel 3a has a slightly better camera than Galaxy A5 (2017), because although it has a camera with a much worse 12.2 megapixels resolution, it also counts with a bigger camera aperture to capture better low light photography and a way better 3840x2160 video quality.
