Comparison review
Xperia XZ3 is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy A5, having a overall score of 79.6 against 72.4. Xperia XZ3's body is extremely newer than Samsung Galaxy A5's, but it's heavier and thicker. Both phones in this review come with Android OS (operating system), but the Xperia XZ3 has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Samsung Galaxy A5 has Android 4.4.4 version, giving a couple nice extra features and performance improvements.
Sony Xperia XZ3 features a more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy A5, because it has a bigger display, a much higher count of pixels per inch of screen and a much higher 1440 x 2880 resolution. The Sony Xperia XZ3 has just a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy A5, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processor and a 32-bit CPU against 64-bits, it also counts with a higher number of faster cores and a larger amount of RAM memory.
The Xperia XZ3 counts with much more storage to store more games and applications than Galaxy A5, because it has 64 GB internal storage capacity and a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB. Sony Xperia XZ3 has a superior battery life than Galaxy A5, because it has 3330mAh of battery capacity instead of 2300mAh.
The Xperia XZ3 has a very superior camera than Samsung Galaxy A5, because it has a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a much more megapixels camera.
Although Xperia XZ3 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy A5, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy A5. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Xperia XZ3, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Galaxy A5, letting go some features and specs.
