Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy A50s is a bit better than Huawei Mate 20, getting an 86.6 score against 79.5. Both of these devices come with Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy A50s has the older 10 version while Huawei Mate 20 has Android 9.0 Pie version. The Samsung Galaxy A50s construction is newer, just a little thinner and lighter than the Huawei Mate 20.
The Huawei Mate 20 has a bit superior processor than Galaxy A50s, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. Huawei Mate 20 has a bit sharper screen than Galaxy A50s, because although it has a little bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2244px and a little inferior number of pixels per display inch, it also counts with a little larger display.
The Galaxy A50s counts with a much greater storage for games and applications than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Galaxy A50s also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 512 GB. The Samsung Galaxy A50s shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for low light photography and video, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy A50s also counts with a much higher resolution back facing camera and a larger back camera sensor capturing higher quality videos and pictures.
Huawei Mate 20's battery life is very similar to Galaxy A50s's battery lifetime.
