Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy A42 is slightly better than the Galaxy A50s, having an 87 score against 86.6. These devices have Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy A42 has newer 11 version while Galaxy A50s has Android 10 version. The Samsung Galaxy A42 body is newer, but heavier and thicker than the Galaxy A50s.
The Galaxy A50s features a bit superior processing unit than Galaxy A42, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy A50s also has a larger amount of RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy A50s features a much better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy A42, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a much better 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution and a way better quantity of pixels per inch of display.
Samsung Galaxy A42 has just a bit more memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A50s, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A42 also has an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 1000 GB. Samsung Galaxy A50s has a slightly better camera than Galaxy A42, although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for low-light captures, they both have a same resolution camera in the back, the same video frame rates and the same video definition.
Galaxy A42 features improved battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy A50s, because it has a 25 percent greater battery size.
