Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy A50s is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy M40, having an 86.6 score against 85. The Samsung Galaxy A50s construction is just a bit thinner and just a little lighter than the Samsung Galaxy M40, even though they were released with only 4 months difference. Both of these phones come with the same Android 10 operating system.
Samsung Galaxy M40 counts with a display that is just as good as Galaxy A50s's display, because although the Samsung Galaxy M40 has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have the same 1080 x 2340 resolution, it also counts with a just a little greater number of pixels per inch of display. The Galaxy M40's memory capacity to install applications and games is very similar to Samsung Galaxy A50s's one, they have a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 512 GB and exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy A50s features just a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy M40. Both of them have a Octa-Core CPU and the same RAM memory amount. Galaxy A50s shoots a bit better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy M40, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy A50s also counts with a way bigger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a back-facing camera with a much higher 48 mega-pixels resolution.
The Galaxy A50s has just a bit better battery life than Galaxy M40, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.
