Comparison review
Galaxy A50s has a general score of 86.6, which is just a bit better than Sony Xperia 1's 82.6 overall score. Even when the Galaxy A50s and the Sony Xperia 1 were only released 5 months apart, the Galaxy A50s is a little bit thinner and just a bit lighter. Xperia 1 has a better display than Samsung Galaxy A50s, because it has way more pixels per display inch, a way higher resolution of 1644 x 3840px and a bit larger display.
Sony Xperia 1 counts with a bit better processing unit than Samsung Galaxy A50s. Both of them have 8 processing cores and a 6 GB RAM. Xperia 1's storage to install applications and games is just as good as the Samsung Galaxy A50s one, both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage capacity and a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 512 GB.
The Galaxy A50s features improved battery lifetime than Xperia 1, because it has a 20 percent bigger battery size. The Samsung Galaxy A50s takes better pictures and videos than Xperia 1, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not so good for capturing photos or video in low light situations, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy A50s also counts with better 30 fps video frame rate, a much larger sensor which gives a lot better image and video quality and a back camera with a way better resolution.
