Comparison review
Xperia 1 II is just a bit better than the Galaxy A50s, having a 91 score against 86.6. Even being the best in this comparison, Xperia 1 II's construction is just a little thicker and a bit heavier than the Galaxy A50s. These phones use Android operating system, but Xperia 1 II has a newer 11 version while Galaxy A50s has Android 10 version.
The Sony Xperia 1 II features a better looking display than Samsung Galaxy A50s, because it has a way better resolution of 1644 x 3840, a little bit bigger screen and a lot better pixel density. The Xperia 1 II has just a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy A50s, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Xperia 1 II also has 2 GB more RAM.
Samsung Galaxy A50s has a superior camera than Sony Xperia 1 II, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not so good for low light photos and video, a tinier back-facing camera sensor giving a worse image quality and lower 30 frames per second video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Samsung Galaxy A50s also counts with a much higher resolution back facing camera.
Sony Xperia 1 II features a much greater memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy A50s, because it has 256 GB internal storage and a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 1000 GB. The Galaxy A50s and the Xperia 1 II count with quite similar battery durations.
