Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy A50s is a bit better than Sony Xperia 1 VI, with an 86.6 score against 83.2. Both devices in this review use Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy A50s has older 10 version while Sony Xperia 1 VI has Android 14 version. The Xperia 1 VI features a little bit better looking screen than Galaxy A50s, because it has a lot better resolution of 1644 x 3840, a way greater screen density and a quite larger display.
Xperia 1 VI features a superior memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy A50s, because it has 128 GB more internal storage and a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 1 TB. The Galaxy A50s has a very superior performance than Xperia 1 VI, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
Xperia 1 VI counts with longer battery lifetime than Galaxy A50s, because it has a 5000mAh battery size against 4000mAh. Xperia 1 VI has a little bit better camera than Galaxy A50s, and although they both have a 48 megapixels resolution camera and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Xperia 1 VI also has a way larger sensor, better video frame rate and a larger camera aperture for better low light photos and video.
