Xperia 5 II has a score of 87.2, which is just a bit better than Galaxy A50s's 86.6 overall score. Xperia 5 II's body is newer and just a bit lighter than the Galaxy A50s's, but it is a little bit thicker. Sony Xperia 5 II features a bit more powerful processing unit than Samsung Galaxy A50s, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia 5 II also has 2 GB more RAM.
The Sony Xperia 5 II counts with just a bit better display than Galaxy A50s, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a little bit higher 1080 x 2520 resolution and a bit greater display density. Samsung Galaxy A50s has a slightly better camera than Xperia 5 II, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not nice for shooting photos and videos in low-light environments, a smaller back-facing camera sensor giving a lower image quality and worse 30 frames per second video frame rates, and they both have the same (4K) video quality, the Samsung Galaxy A50s also counts with a back facing camera with lot more mega pixels.
