Comparison review
The Galaxy A50s is slightly better than the Xperia XZ2 Compact, with an 86.6 score against 79. The Galaxy A50s is a newer cellphone, and it is also extremely thinner and just a little bit lighter than Xperia XZ2 Compact. Both of these devices use Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy A50s has an older 10 version while Xperia XZ2 Compact has Android 8.0 Oreo.
The Xperia XZ2 Compact has a sharper display than Galaxy A50s, because although it has a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2160px and a much smaller display, it also counts with a little more pixels per screen inch. The Galaxy A50s counts with a much greater storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia XZ2 Compact, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity and an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact features a little bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy A50s, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 cores. The Galaxy A50s has a way better battery lifetime than Xperia XZ2 Compact, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity instead of 2870mAh.
The Galaxy A50s takes a bit better pictures and videos than Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, because although it has worse 30 frames per second video frame rates, and they both have the same video quality and a same size aperture, the Galaxy A50s also counts with a camera with a lot higher 48 MP resolution and a larger back-facing camera sensor which offers a better photo and video quality.
