Galaxy A51 5G has a global score of 90.8, which is better than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro's overall score of 78.7. Although Galaxy A51 5G is a lot newer than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, it is somewhat thicker and a little heavier. Both devices in this review have Android operating system, but Galaxy A51 5G has an older 11 version while Huawei Mate 9 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo version.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a bit sharper screen than Galaxy A51 5G, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a greater screen pixels density and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560. Galaxy A51 5G features a way bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy A51 5G also has an external SD slot that allows up to 1000 GB.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a little better processing power than Galaxy A51 5G. Both of them have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount. The Galaxy A51 5G shoots much better pictures and videos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same video quality, the Galaxy A51 5G also has a bigger camera aperture, a back-facing camera with much more MP and a much larger sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
Galaxy A51 5G has a little longer battery life than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has a 13% larger battery size.
