The Galaxy A51 5G has an overall score of 90.8, which is just a bit better than the Moto G 5G Plus's general score of 82.6. The Galaxy A51 5G body is just a little lighter and just a bit thinner than the Moto G 5G Plus, even when both of them were only released 2 months apart. The Moto G 5G Plus and Galaxy A51 5G feature very similar screens, although the Moto G 5G Plus also has a little bit bigger screen, a bit better quantity of pixels in each inch in the screen and a quite better 1080 x 2520px resolution.

Moto G 5G Plus's processing unit is very similar to the Galaxy A51 5G one, and although the Moto G 5G Plus has lesser RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. Moto G 5G Plus has a camera that's just as good as the Samsung Galaxy A51 5G one, and although the Moto G 5G Plus has a larger camera aperture to capture better low light images and videos, they both have the same (4K) video quality, the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the same resolution camera in the back and the same back camera sensor size.

The Samsung Galaxy A51 5G features more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Motorola Moto G 5G Plus, and although they both have an external memory slot that supports up to 1000 GB, the Samsung Galaxy A51 5G also has 128 GB internal memory. Motorola Moto G 5G Plus has a bit better battery lifetime than Galaxy A51 5G, because it has an 11 percent larger battery size.
