Comparison review
The Xperia 1 III is just a bit better than Galaxy A51 5G, getting a general score of 93.3 against 90.8. The Xperia 1 III is a just a bit thinner cellphone than Galaxy A51 5G, but both of them weight the same. Both of these phones come with the same Android 11 OS (Operating System), so both should give you all the same operating system features.
The Xperia 1 III has just a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy A51 5G, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia 1 III also has a higher amount of RAM memory. Sony Xperia 1 III has a better screen than Samsung Galaxy A51 5G, and although they both have a same size screen, the Sony Xperia 1 III also has much more pixels per display inch and a much better 1644 x 3840 pixels resolution.
The Galaxy A51 5G has just a bit better camera than Xperia 1 III, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not nice for capturing images or video in poorly lited situations, a smaller back camera sensor taking worse quality images and slower video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Galaxy A51 5G also counts with a way better 48 mega-pixels resolution camera.
The Xperia 1 III features a lot bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy A51 5G, because it has 256 GB internal memory and an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 1 TB. The Sony Xperia 1 III has a battery life that is very similar to the battery lifetime in Samsung Galaxy A51 5G.
Although Sony Xperia 1 III is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy A51 5G, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy A51 5G. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Sony Xperia 1 III, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Galaxy A51 5G, letting go some specs and features.
