Both devices we are comparing come with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy A51 has the previous 11 version and LG G7 ThinQ has Android 9.0 Pie version. The Galaxy A51 is a just a little heavier phone than LG G7 ThinQ, but both are equally thin.

The LG G7 ThinQ counts with a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy A51. They have the same RAM amount and a Octa-Core CPU. LG G7 ThinQ has a sharper screen than Galaxy A51, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a greater amount of pixels per display inch and a higher resolution of 1440 x 3120px.

The Galaxy A51 captures better photographs and videos than LG G7 ThinQ, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is worse for low light images and lower 30 fps video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Galaxy A51 also counts with a camera in the back with a lot higher 48 megapixels resolution and a lot bigger sensor which offers a lot better image and video quality.

The LG G7 ThinQ features just a bit more memory capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy A51, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 1,95 TB. Although Samsung Galaxy A51 is a better device, it costs a lot more than LG G7 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG G7 ThinQ. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy A51, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the LG G7 ThinQ, giving up some features and specs.
