Galaxy A7 (2018) has a general score of 84.2, which is just a bit better than Huawei P20's 78.1 overall score. The Galaxy A7 (2018) is a just a bit heavier phone than Huawei P20, but both are 0.3inches thick. The Huawei P20 features a slightly better looking display than Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018), because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little higher count of pixels per inch in the display and a slightly higher 1080 x 2244 resolution.
The Galaxy A7 (2018) features much more memory for apps and games than Huawei P20, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy A7 (2018) also has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB. Huawei P20 has a processor that's just as good as Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018)'s processing unit, and although the Huawei P20 has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
The Huawei P20 captures a bit better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018), because although it has a back facing camera with a lot worse 12 mega-pixels resolution and a tinier aperture which is not favorable for low-light images and video, it also counts with a bigger back-facing camera sensor which gives a better photo and video quality and a much better video definition.
Huawei P20 counts with a bit superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018), because it has a 3 percent greater battery capacity.
