The Google Nexus 6P is a bit better than Galaxy A7, with an 80.3 score against 75.4. The Google Nexus 6P design is newer, but extremely heavier and thicker than the Galaxy A7. Galaxy A7 has a little sharper display than Google Nexus 6P, although it has a lot worse resolution of 1920 x 1080, a little bit smaller screen and a bit worse pixels quantity per screen inch.
The Galaxy A7 counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Google Nexus 6P, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy A7 also counts with an extra graphics processor and a 64-bits processor. Google Nexus 6P captures much clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy A7, because although it has a back-facing camera with a worse 12.3 mega pixels resolution, it also counts with a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition.
Google Nexus 6P features much more memory capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy A7, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with more internal memory. Google Nexus 6P has greater battery performance than Galaxy A7, because it has a 33% larger battery size.
Although Google Nexus 6P is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy A7, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy A7. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Google Nexus 6P, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy A7, giving up a couple specs and features.
