Comparison review
The Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe has a general score of 77.5, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy A8 (2016)'s 72.8 global score. Even though the Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe and Galaxy A8 (2016) were released only a couple months apart, the Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe design is a little lighter but also just a little thicker than Galaxy A8 (2016).
The Galaxy A8 (2016) counts with a bit sharper screen than Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe. They have a better pixels number in each inch in the screen, a screen of the same size and the same exact resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The Galaxy A8 (2016) and the Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe feature quite similar CPUs, because although the Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe has an inferior number of cores (although they are faster), it also counts with a larger amount of RAM memory.
The Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe features a lot bigger storage to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016), because although it has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB against 256 GB, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity. The Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe captures much better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016), because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not good for low light photography and video, it also counts with a much more megapixels camera in the back and a much better (4K) video quality.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) has just a bit longer battery lifetime than Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe, because it has a 3300mAh battery size.
