The Samsung Galaxy S7 has a general score of 79.5, which is just a bit better than Galaxy A8 (2018)'s overall score of 79.2. Even though the Samsung Galaxy S7 is older than the Galaxy A8 (2018), it's body is a bit thinner and somewhat lighter. Samsung Galaxy S7 features a sharper screen than Galaxy A8 (2018), because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution and a greater quantity of pixels per inch in the display.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) features a way bigger storage to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S7, because it has an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB and 32 GB more internal memory. Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) counts with a bit superior CPU than Samsung Galaxy S7, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) also has more cpu cores.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) feature quite similar batteries. The Galaxy S7 has a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018), because although it has a much worse resolution back camera, and they both have a same size camera aperture, the Galaxy S7 also counts with a lot better 3840x2160 video definition.
