Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 is slightly better than Galaxy A8 (2018), having a general score of 80.3 against 79.2. Xiaomi Redmi Note 7's body is newer and a little thinner, but just a little bit heavier than the Galaxy A8 (2018). Xiaomi Redmi Note 7's processing unit is very similar to Galaxy A8 (2018)'s CPU, they have 4 GB of RAM and the same number of cores.
Galaxy A8 (2018) has a bit sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, because although it has a little bit smaller display and a bit worse 1080 x 2220 resolution, it also counts with a quite higher quantity of pixels in each screen inch.
