Comparison review
The Galaxy A8 Star is just a bit better than Asus ZenFone AR, getting an 82.1 score against 77.4. Although the Galaxy A8 Star is somewhat heavier than Asus ZenFone AR, it's thinner and also newer. Asus ZenFone AR features a bit more vivid display than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution and a higher display pixel density.
Asus ZenFone AR has a way bigger memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 1,95 TB and 128 GB internal storage capacity. Galaxy A8 Star features a little bit better hardware performance than Asus ZenFone AR, and although they both have a 6 GB RAM memory, the Galaxy A8 Star also has a larger number of faster cores.
Galaxy A8 Star features just a bit better battery life than Asus ZenFone AR, because it has a 3700mAh battery capacity. The Asus ZenFone AR shoots slightly better videos and photos than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for low light photography and videos and lower 24 frames per second video frame rate, and they both have the same video definition, the Asus ZenFone AR also counts with a back camera with a way better 23 megapixels resolution and a larger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
