Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A8 Star is slightly better than LG V30, with an 82.1 score against 79.1. Although the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star is newer than LG V30, it's just a little thicker and heavier. The LG V30 counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy A8 Star, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have 8 processing cores.
The LG V30 features a little bit better screen than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a greater pixel density and a higher 1440 x 2880px resolution. The LG V30 counts with a camera that's very similar to the Galaxy A8 Star one, because although the LG V30 has a smaller camera sensor which provides a lower image and video quality, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, a 16 megapixels back camera and the same (4K) video definition, it also counts with a larger aperture to capture better captures and videos in low-light environments.
The LG V30 features a superior storage capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the LG V30 also has an external SD slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. The Galaxy A8 Star features just a bit longer battery duration than LG V30, because it has a 12% greater battery capacity.
