Galaxy A8 Star has a general score of 82.1, which is a little bit better than the Moto G Stylus's overall score of 79.7. These phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy A8 Star has newer 9.0 Pie version while Moto G Stylus has Android 11 version. The Galaxy A8 Star body is just a bit lighter and somewhat thinner than the Moto G Stylus, although it was released a little bit further than a year before.

Moto G Stylus has a display that is very similar to the Galaxy A8 Star one, although the Moto G Stylus also has a little bit more pixels per inch of screen, a little bit larger screen and a slightly higher 1080 x 2300 resolution. The Motorola Moto G Stylus counts with a lot bigger storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB and 128 GB internal memory.

The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star counts with a bit faster processing unit than Moto G Stylus, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star also has more RAM. Moto G Stylus takes much clearer videos and photos than Galaxy A8 Star, and although they both have the same aperture, the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same (4K) video quality, the Moto G Stylus also has a way larger sensor which provides a way higher photo and video quality and a much more mega pixels back camera.

The Moto G Stylus features just a bit better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3700mAh.
