Galaxy A8 Star has a global score of 82.1, which is a bit better than OnePlus 8's global score of 76. Galaxy A8 Star's body is just a little thinner than the OnePlus 8, although it is just a little heavier and was released a bit more further than a year before. OnePlus 8 features a better screen than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a slightly higher 1080 x 2400 resolution, a bit bigger screen and a little bit more pixels per display inch.
The OnePlus 8 counts with a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy A8 Star, and although they both have the same number of cores, the OnePlus 8 also has more RAM. Galaxy A8 Star counts with a greater memory to install games and applications than OnePlus 8, because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 400 GB.
