Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy M30s is just a bit better than Galaxy A8 Star, having a global score of 83.3 against 82.1. Both of these devices include Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy M30s has the previous 11 version and Galaxy A8 Star has Android 9.0 Pie. The Samsung Galaxy M30s design is newer and a little bit lighter than Galaxy A8 Star's, but it is also thicker.
Samsung Galaxy M30s counts with a slightly better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a little better pixel density, a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and a quite bigger display. Galaxy M30s counts with a CPU that is just as good as the processing unit in Galaxy A8 Star, and although the Galaxy M30s has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
The Samsung Galaxy M30s has a better camera than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is worse for low-light photos and video, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy M30s also counts with a back-facing camera with a lot better 48 mega pixels resolution and a lot bigger back camera sensor providing a way higher image quality.
The Samsung Galaxy M30s counts with slightly more storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy M30s also has an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB. The Samsung Galaxy M30s has a much longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity instead of 3700mAh.
