Galaxy Note9 is a bit better than Galaxy A8 Star, getting a score of 87.1 against 82.1. Even being the best phone in this review, we must note that it's also a somewhat thicker and just a little heavier phone. Galaxy Note9 features a little more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a better screen pixels density, a higher 1440 x 2960 resolution and a little bigger display.
The Galaxy Note9 features a superior storage to store more games and applications than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has more internal storage capacity and a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 512 GB. Samsung Galaxy Note9 counts with a little faster processing unit than Galaxy A8 Star. Both have the same number of cores and a 6 GB RAM.
Samsung Galaxy Note9 has a little bit better camera than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a lower 3840x2160 video resolution and a back camera with a much worse resolution, it also counts with a bigger back camera sensor and a bigger aperture. Samsung Galaxy Note9 counts with just a little bit longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because it has an 8% larger battery size.
