Comparison review

Galaxy A80 has a score of 84.9, which is just a bit better than the LG V50 ThinQ's 83.7 global score. Even being the best cellphone in our current comparison, we must tell that it's also a heavier and thicker cellphone. The LG V50 ThinQ has a bit better CPU than Galaxy A80, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have 8 processing cores.

The LG V50 ThinQ features a bit better looking display than Galaxy A80, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher display pixels density and a better resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels. The LG V50 ThinQ features a superior memory capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy A80, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the LG V50 ThinQ also has a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB.

Galaxy A80 shoots slightly better pictures and videos than LG V50 ThinQ, because although it has slower 30 frames per second video frame rate and a much tinier aperture which is not favorable for low light images and video, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Galaxy A80 also counts with a lot higher resolution back-facing camera and a lot larger sensor providing a way better image quality.

LG V50 ThinQ counts with a little better battery duration than Galaxy A80, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3700mAh.
