Galaxy A80 has a global score of 84.9, which is much better than Xiaomi Mi 5s's 76.4 general score. Galaxy A80's body is extremely newer, but thicker and way heavier than Xiaomi Mi 5s. The Galaxy A80 counts with a bit faster CPU than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a larger number of cores and more RAM.
Xiaomi Mi 5s has a little bit better display than Samsung Galaxy A80, because although it has a really smaller display and a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, it also counts with a quite greater pixel density. The Xiaomi Mi 5s's storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos is just as good as the Samsung Galaxy A80 one, both of them have the same 128 GB internal memory capacity.
Galaxy A80 features just a little bit longer battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a 3700mAh battery size instead of 3200mAh. The Samsung Galaxy A80 shoots much better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have the same diafragm aperture, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy A80 also has a lot more mega-pixels back camera and a larger camera sensor which provides a higher photo and video quality.
