Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) has an overall score of 85.2, which is a little bit better than Asus ROG Phone 5s's score of 84.9. Despite of the fact that Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) is extremely older than Asus ROG Phone 5s, it's construction is much thinner and way lighter. The Asus ROG Phone 5s has a bit better processor than Galaxy A9 (2018), and although they both have the same number of cores, the Asus ROG Phone 5s also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
The Asus ROG Phone 5s counts with a sharper display than Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018), because it has a little bit larger screen, a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2448 pixels and a little bit more pixels per inch in the display. Asus ROG Phone 5s features a much better camera than Galaxy A9 (2018), because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not good for shooting pictures and video in low light situations, it also counts with a way more mega pixels back-facing camera, a way bigger sensor providing a lot better image quality and a much higher 7680x4320 video quality.
Galaxy A9 (2018) has a way bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Asus ROG Phone 5s, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Galaxy A9 (2018) also has an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB. Asus ROG Phone 5s has a much better battery lifetime than Galaxy A9 (2018), because it has a 58% bigger battery capacity.
